Terms of Service
Version terms-2026-10-05 · Effective 5 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Point2 customer app or website to book a service. Operators (drivers, riders, tow and cargo operators) have their own Operator Terms. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
Point2 is operated by POINT2 DIGITAL LTD, a company registered in Nigeria under number RC2389271298 (“Point2”, “we”, “us”).
Point2 is a technology platform. It connects you with independent operators who provide rides, package delivery, cargo transport and towing. Operators are not Point2 employees; each trip is provided by the operator who accepts it.
2. Your account
- You need an account to book. Keep your sign-in details and the one-time codes we send you private.
- The details you give us must be accurate and yours. You are responsible for bookings made from your account.
- Some features, such as Pay Later, require identity verification (your NIN and a liveness check). We tell you in the app when a feature needs it.
3. The services
Through the app you can request:
- Rides in the ride types shown in the app. Vehicle model, colour and similar details are not guaranteed for any ride type.
- Package delivery by motorbike, car or van, within the weight limit shown for each option.
- Cargo transport by pickup, truck or larger vehicle, within the capacity shown for each option.
- Towing and vehicle transport by the tow types shown in the app.
Point2 is available only in the cities and areas the app serves. If your pickup point is outside them, the app will not give you a price. Scheduled bookings, Pay Later and promotions are switched on city by city and may not be available where you are. A service can also be paused for a time; the app shows which services you can book right now.
4. Booking and price
Before you confirm, the app shows a price for the service, vehicle option and route you chose. The price is made up of a base fare, distance and time, any applicable demand or traffic adjustment, a booking fee, any extras you select (for example an extra stop, loading help or airport pickup), any discount from a promo code, and VAT. Cash fares are rounded to the nearest ₦50.
The final price can differ from the quote only for:
- Waiting time: after a free waiting period (shown in the app, currently 5 minutes, or 3 for motorbike deliveries) waiting is charged per minute for a limited time; and
- extras or changes you add during the trip.
Operators cannot change the price.
If no operator accepts your request, the app may suggest adding a boost to the fare. A boost is optional and is added to the price only if you choose it.
5. Paying for a trip
You can pay with your Point2 wallet, a saved debit or credit card, cash (not available for towing or cargo), or Pay Later where it is offered. Card bookings are charged to your default card when the trip is completed. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paystack; Point2 does not store your full card number.
Towing and cargo deposit. For towing and cargo bookings, a deposit of 30% of the estimated fare is taken when an operator accepts the job. It counts towards the final fare.
Wallet top-ups, refunds, Pay Later and fees are explained in our Payments & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Cancelling, waiting and no-shows
- Cancelling is free within 60 seconds of booking, and at any time before an operator accepts.
- After that, a cancellation fee applies: ₦500 for rides and ₦1,000 for deliveries. For towing and cargo, the fee is 30% of the deposit. The fee is paid to the operator who accepted the job.
- You cannot cancel once the trip has started.
- If an operator cancels a towing or cargo job, your deposit is returned to your Point2 wallet.
- If an operator reports that you did not show up, and Point2 confirms it, a ₦500 no-show fee applies. If the operator does not show up, you pay nothing.
The amounts above are the ones in force for this version of the terms; the app shows any fee before it is charged.
8. Your responsibilities
- Treat operators and other people with respect; no harassment, threats, violence or discrimination.
- Give accurate pickup and drop-off details and be ready at pickup.
- Do not send or ask an operator to carry anything illegal, dangerous or prohibited, and declare the true nature and approximate weight of items for delivery and cargo.
- Wear a seatbelt or helmet where provided and follow the law.
- Pay what you owe, including fees and any Pay Later balance by its due date.
- Do not misuse promo codes, referrals or the app (for example by creating multiple accounts).
9. Promo codes and referrals
- Each promo code has its own conditions (for example discount amount, maximum discount, minimum fare, services, cities, dates and how many times it can be used). The app applies one code per booking; codes do not combine.
- Promotional credit cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
- Referral rewards are paid only under a referral campaign that is running when the referral is made, and only for trips that are completed and paid. Each person can be referred once, and you cannot refer yourself.
10. Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or restrict an account for a breach of these terms, suspected fraud, a safety concern, or a Pay Later balance more than 30 days overdue (which blocks new bookings until it is paid). We tell you the reason. You can contact support if you think a decision is wrong.
You can delete your account at any time from the app or by asking us. What happens to your data is explained on our account deletion page.
11. Problems, complaints and disputes
If something goes wrong with a trip, report it in the app (Help & Support → report an issue) or contact us. You can ask for a refund within 3 days of a completed trip; see the Payments & Refunds policy. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Nigerian consumer protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

12. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we publish a new version on this page with a new version number and effective date, and tell you in the app before it applies to you. The version you accepted is recorded with your account.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
