Your NIN, checked with our identity verification provider, and a liveness selfie.
Rides, cargo and towing
Driver's licence, vehicle licence, four vehicle photos and an insurance certificate. Towing also needs a towing licence or permit.
Deliveries
A rider's card or a Class A licence.
Getting paid
A bank account in your own name, matched against your BVN and NIN identity.
How it works
From sign-up to your first trip
Step 1: Choose your service
Rides, deliveries, towing or cargo: pick what fits your vehicle.
Step 2: Get verified
Verify your identity and upload your documents in the app. We review them and tell you when you are approved.
Step 3: Go online and accept requests
The app shows each request before you accept it. You decide which ones to take.
Step 4: Navigate and complete the trip
Follow the route to pickup and drop-off, then see what the trip paid you.

Know what you keep on every trip
Point2 sets the fare and takes a commission, a set percentage for your service type. The app shows what you keep on every trip.

- A percentage of the fare per service type, published in the Operator Terms. We tell you in the app before a rate changes.
- Fees you keep
- Cancellation and waiting fees a customer pays go to you in full.
- Payouts
- Paid nightly to the bank account you verify, or withdraw your full available balance in the app.
- Wallet reserve
- ₦5,000 stays in your wallet; only the amount above it is paid out.

What do I need to get verified?
Your NIN and a liveness selfie, plus the documents your service needs: for rides, cargo and towing a driver's licence, vehicle licence, four vehicle photos and an insurance certificate (towing also needs a towing licence or permit); for deliveries a rider's card or Class A licence.
How long does verification take?
Point2 reviews your documents and tells you in the app when you are approved. We do not promise a fixed time.
Do I have to work set hours?
No. You choose when you go online and which requests you accept.
How much does Point2 take?
A commission on each completed trip: a percentage of the fare, set per service type. The current rates are in the Operator Terms, every trip shows what you keep, and we will tell you in the app before a rate changes. Cancellation and waiting fees a customer pays go to you in full.
How and when do I get paid?
Your available balance is paid to your verified bank account in a nightly batch, or you can withdraw it in the app. A reserve of ₦5,000 stays in your wallet; only the amount above it is paid out.
What about cash trips?
When a customer pays you in cash, the commission is debited from your Point2 wallet. While your wallet balance is below zero you will not receive further cash requests.
What happens when a document expires?
We warn you 14 days before. Once it expires you are taken offline until you upload a valid one.
